The robot is equipped with sophisticated camera technology on it’s head, six wheels, and the ability to jump over small obstacles. Plumbers and technicians are able to control the robot remotely, viewing its surroundings via live video feed.
Implementation is quickly escalating as the robot is being used to unclog drains, clear blockages, and repair leaks across the country. The robot, developed by Wuhan Easy-Sight Technology, has been reported to complete a 1-km long drainpipe maintenance check.
